On Thursday 13 November 2025, at the request of the President of the Association of Judicial Officers of the Court of Appeal of Thessaloniki, Mr Nikolaos Giannis, the French National Chamber of Judicial Commissioners presented the statement of facts in all its forms before an audience of around one hundred people, including judicial officers, lawyers and distinguished figures from the judiciary, gathered for the occasion at the Porto Palacio Hotel & Spa in Thessaloniki.
The French delegation was represented by Ms Françoise Andrieux, Honorary President of the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ), Mr Robert Cicuto, Judicial Commissioner and Treasurer of the European Union of Judicial Officers (UEHJ), and Mr Leo Netten, Honorary President of the UIHJ.
Ms Andrieux retraced the origins of the report of findings, highlighting the obligations incumbent on the judicial officer. Mr Cicuto presented, through videos, various types of reports of findings: property condition, pre-works reports, environmental reports, as well as statement of facts supported by artificial intelligence. Mr Illias Tsipos, representative of the Greek Chamber, shared his observation program carried out over two days in France, including one day spent within the French National Chamber of Judicial Commissioners. Mr Netten concluded the session by recalling the essential principles relating to statement of facts and by sharing his professional experience in their implementation.
The session concluded with an exchange with the President of the National Chamber of Greece, and France was invited to provide a new presentation on the statement of facts in January 2026, this time in Athens.
