The UIHJ, represented by its President Marc Schmitz, its First Vice-President Jos Uitdehaag and its Secretary General Patrick Gielen, participated on 5 June 2026 in the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the Chamber of Enforcement Agents of the Republic of North Macedonia in Skopje.

Held at the Limak Hotel in Skopje, this official ceremony brought together numerous representatives of the judiciary and public institutions to celebrate two decades of the Chamber’s existence and to highlight the essential role played by enforcement agents in the functioning of justice and the rule of law in North Macedonia. The ceremony was chaired by Vesna Delovska, President of the Chamber, in the presence of Alen Dereban, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of North Macedonia, and Irina Trajkoska Strezoski, Director of the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors.

On this occasion, Marc Schmitz and Jos Uitdehaag addressed the audience on behalf of the UIHJ, praising the remarkable progress achieved by the profession since its establishment and underlining the Chamber’s continuous commitment to efficient, modern and rights-based enforcement.

Since joining the UIHJ, the Chamber of Enforcement Agents of the Republic of North Macedonia has become an active and valued member of our organisation. Its representatives regularly participate in the Union’s international activities and contribute to strengthening professional exchanges and cooperation among enforcement professionals worldwide.

The UIHJ extends its warmest congratulations to the Chamber on this important milestone. It also expresses its sincere gratitude to Vesna Delovska for her invitation and to all colleagues from North Macedonia for their outstanding hospitality, professionalism and unwavering dedication to the service of justice.
