The National Chamber of Judicial Officers of North Macedonia will celebrate its 15th Anniversary on 4 June 2021 in Skopje
Relations between the UIHJ and North Macedonia began in 2003 on the occasion of its participation in a seminar organised by the Council of Europe, USAID and DPK International from 22 to 24 September 2003 in Skopje on the reform of the judicial procedures from the aspect of European standards. This seminar shed light on the different possibilities for the development of the profession of enforcement agent.
As a result, exchanges with members of the Parliament of North Macedonia, representatives of the profession and the authorities increased.
The profession of private judicial officer was created in 2006 with the appointment of 41 judicial officers to which the UIHJ officially supported by a letter of 24 May 2006.
The missions in North Macedonia in which the UIHJ participated, represented by Jos Uitdehaag, secretary of the board and international expert, have multiplied and have made it possible to support the profession in all its reforms.
Relations with the successive presidents of the National Chamber of Judicial Officers of North Macedonia have always been very fruitful. The UIHJ sends its five successive presidents, Goran Toshevski (2006), Antonio Kostanov (2006-2014) Zoran Petreski (2014-2018), Zoran Dimov (2018-2020) and Vancho Markovski (since November 2020), its most sincere congratulations for the work that they have accomplished in favour of the profession.
The UIHJ participated in the celebrations of the 5th and 10th anniversaries of the National Chamber of Judicial Officers of North Macedonia in 2011 and 2016.
