The International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ) through its secretary Jos Uitdehaag, together with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe Legal Reform developed Guidelines on the Code of Ethics and professional standards for enforcement agents from South-East Europe.
The Code of Ethics and professional standards are important tools that define a framework for professional behavior and responsibilities that functions as a benchmark for the enforcement agents to use for self-evaluation.
This brochure shall serve as a guidance and a navigation tool, towards the development of a quality management system in a well-organized enforcement agent’s office, based on the applicable legislative framework, ethical rules, and demands from society.
