Death of François Taillefer, president of the Chamber of Judicial Officers of Quebec
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of François Taillefer, president of the Chamber of Judicial Officers of Quebec, which occurred on March 28, 2024, at the age of only 64, following a fight against cancer.
François had a brilliant career as a judicial officer, arbitrator and civil and commercial mediator.
Judicial officer since 1986 and associated with the Paquette et Associés firm in Montreal, he was president of the Chamber of Judicial Officers of Quebec since February 2018.
His passing is a huge loss for our profession.
The UIHJ sends its saddened condolences to all his family and loved ones and assures them of its full support in this painful ordeal.
