Every year, on the second Thursday of June the UIHJ organises worldwide the World Day of Judicial Officers. This day meets a growing success. This year's theme was good professional practices. The World Day of Judicial Officers offers judicial officers the opportunity to present themselves and organise events to publicise the profession to the public and the authorities. You will discover hereafter some actions carried out in several countries to celebrate the 2018 edition of the World Day of Judicial Officers.

In Armenia, the Department of Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia highlighted the event by issuing a press release to celebrate the World Day of Judicial Officers.
In Benin, at the end of the demonstrations marking the eleventh World Day, the judicial officers announced that they wished to reinforce their service to the litigants and to pay them a particular attention. The programme of national festivities, designed accordingly, took place over several days to the satisfaction of all members of the profession.

In Congo, as a prelude to the event, a blood donation took place on June 9 by many Congolese Judicial Officers. "As a prelude to this day, we wanted to give blood, because the judicial officer, this enforcement officer who usually carries out seizures, evictions and other enforcement measures, is also a human being. The judicial officer today has kindly given blood for all the patients who are in hospitals, in short to save lives" said the president of the National Chamber of Judicial Officers of Congo, Jean-Didier Bidié, Vice-President of the UIHJ. Regarding the celebration of the event, several activities took place throughout the country, including Brazzaville, Pointe-Noire and Dolisie. A focus was held in the conference room of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Brazzaville. On this occasion, presentations in the form of panels were developed by magistrates, judicial officers, lawyers and others professionals.

In Italy, the European Association of Judicial Officers of Italy (AUGE) took advantage of this day to open a new channel of communication to give voice to Italian companies and the rest of the world.

In Moldova, five training sessions on good professional practices were conducted by the National Chamber of Judicial Officers of Moldova.

In Thailand, the Department of Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Thailand organized a seminar bringing together the judicial officers of the Kingdom, in which ML. Panadda Diskul, Assistant Minister of His Excellency, Prime Minister of Thailand delivered a speech on the theme of good governance of judicial officers.
