Up to now, the National Chamber of the judicial officers of Togo did not have suitable premises. For its president, André Sama Botcho, it became necessary to act to provide the public and the authorities with a convenient place.

This local has been found in the capital of Togo. The premises are spacious and nicely laid out, complete with a courtyard garden. Furniture and equipment (desks, computers, etc.) have been installed. The pictures of the last three presidents of the chamber were hung on a wall, obviously, to honour the outstanding work done by them, whether Mr. Klouvas, the late Ahoomey, or more recently Kokoé Gaba dos Reis.

President Sama Botcho took the occasion of the holding of a training seminar this week in Lome, funded by the European Union and organized by the Chamber of Togo, the National School of Procedure of Paris (ENP) and the French Embassy in Togo, and the presence of virtually all Togolese judicial officers, to officially open the premises.

On 25 March in the afternoon, a hundred chairs are installed for the attention of judicial officers and officials from Togo at the entrance of the "house of the judicial officer," as it was baptized.

After the welcome address of the President of the National Chamber of Togo, Yacoubou Agnin, Head of cabinet of the Minister of Justice, formally inaugurated the premises after delivering a speech in which he congratulated, on behalf of the Minister of Justice, the National Chamber of the Judicial officers of Togo, its chairman and his board for this excellent initiative.

The event was relayed by the media. It helps reinforcing the positive image of the profession, not only in Togo but also internationally.
